Celebrating Mothers
Mother's Day is a chance to acknowledge the special women in our lives, those with us and those who have gone. Perhaps we'll take a moment to celebrate the women who, for whatever reason, have become like mothers to us and, I hope, even take a moment to acknowledge ourselves and all that we have done – and will still do – in our lives. However we choose to do this, whether through gift-giving, a phonecall or getting together for a cuppa, having a day on the calendar marked 'Mother's Day' helps us focus on all the meals, laundry, lessons, sticking plasters, hugs and kisses we've been given over the years.
